Eintracht Frankfurt Glasner Talks About Champions League Qualification

Eintracht Frankfurt: Glasner talks about Champions League qualification

Frankfurt - Shortly before the end of the season, Oliver Glasner spoke about Eintracht Frankfurt's chances of reaching the Champions League.

“We are the hunters. I think we can do it if we give it our all and play all 90 minutes with full force."

Eintracht Frankfurt has a great chance of qualifying for the Champions League. The Hessians are currently sixth in the table, just three points behind fourth-placed RB Leipzig. With three games to go, anything is still possible.

Coach Oliver Glasner is confident that his team can make it. "We have a great team and we are in a good position," said the Austrian at the press conference before the game at Mainz 05 on Saturday (3:30 p.m.). "We are the hunters. I think we can do it if we give it our all and play all 90 minutes with full force."

In order to achieve this, Eintracht must win all three remaining games. In addition, they need Leipzig to slip up. "We can't do anything about that," said Glasner. "But we can do something about our own games. We want to win every game and see what happens."

Glasner also spoke about the pressure that comes with the hunt for the Champions League. "Of course we feel pressure, but we try to deal with it," said the 47-year-old. "We know that there are great expectations, but we also know that we have the quality to meet them."

Eintracht Frankfurt's remaining fixtures:

• Mainz 05 (A) - Saturday, 14 May (3:30pm) • Borussia Mönchengladbach (H) - Tuesday, 17 May (8:30pm) • Bayer Leverkusen (A) - Saturday, 21 May (3:30pm)
