Borussia Dortmund Downs Paris Saint-Germain, Advances to Champions League Final

Niclas Füllkrug's First-Half Goal Proves Decisive

Borussia Dortmund made history on Tuesday night, becoming the first team to reach the Champions League final at Wembley Stadium. The German side defeated Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 in the semi-final thanks to a brilliant goal from Niclas Füllkrug.

Füllkrug's goal came in the 33rd minute, when he received a pass from Marco Reus just outside the penalty area. The striker took a touch to control the ball and then fired a low, left-footed shot into the bottom corner of the net. Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma had no chance of making the save.

Borussia Dortmund held on to their lead for the rest of the match, despite some late pressure from Paris Saint-Germain. The German side's defense was resolute, and goalkeeper Gregor Kobel made several key saves to keep his team's hopes alive.

With the victory, Borussia Dortmund will now face Real Madrid in the Champions League final on May 28. It will be the German side's first appearance in the final since 2013, when they lost to Bayern Munich.
