Marquis Grissom: A Baseball Star with Both the Braves and Nationals

Early Career and Time with the Braves

Marquis Grissom began his MLB career with the Montreal Expos in 1989. He played for the Expos for five seasons before being traded to the Braves in 1994.

Grissom quickly became a valuable member of the Braves, playing a key role in their success during the mid-1990s.

In 1995, Grissom had one of his best seasons, batting .308 with 20 stolen bases and 102 RBIs. He also won a Gold Glove Award for his outstanding defensive play in center field.
